The facts of the case.

Our client was a resident of Groton, Connecticut.  He was driving a small truck on I-95 in Branford, Connecticut when he was struck from behind by a person driving a rental car.  Our client suffered life threatening injuries, and was hospitalized for two months at Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut.  He had a traumatic brain injury, and multiple other injuries and infections.  As a result, he underwent rehabilitation at Gaylord Hospital and has not been able to work since the accident. This case was brought against the defendant driver, and the rental car company.

The traumatic brain injury settlement.

The case settled for $2.5 million dollars before trial.  The case was known as Wickman v. Enterprise Rent-A-Car and Young Kim.

Our client was very pleased with the result.  He was unable to work due to his bring injury, and this settlement helped protect his future.
