Truck Accident in East Lyme, Connecticut.

It was the winter of 2007 on Rt. 95 in East Lyme, Connecticut.  Cars were traveling on the highway without incident. All of a sudden, a truck came crashing into their lane coming from the opposite direction.  Lives changed forever, and several were lost.

The crash left three dead and others seriously injured.  Our office represented one of the victims who luckily was one of the survivors.

The defendant Northeast Carriers had only $2 Million in coverage.  Our client’s harms and losses exceeded this sum.  We pursued the case against their parent company.  It is a great injustice to allow trucking companies to operate without adequate insurance coverage.

The case proceeded.  There were several plaintiff’s with serious injuries, and at least one fatality.  The case took several years.
