When you are charged with evading responsibility in Connecticut, you will need the help of a criminal lawyer.

In this case, my client was from Ledyard, Connecticut, and was charged with evading.  The case was prosecuted in New London, Connecticut at GA 10, 112 Broad Street, New London.  In this case, the charge was a class A misdemeanor.  It carries with it a maximum sentence of 1 year in jail and a 1 year license suspension.  We did not expect any jail time for various reasons.  But our client really needed to save his license.

We were able to convince the state’s attorney to change the charge to something that did not affect our client’s license.  Our client was very pleased.
