This case was a tire mismatch case that led to the death of a young man. Tires will sometimes fit, and appear to properly seat on the wrong rims creating a lethal hazard when the tire is inflated. When a mismached tire and rim are inflated they can explode. The rim is made of steel and becomes a lethal projectile after the explosion.
