Attorney Peter Bartinik Jr. has served as an elected official for his town in several different elected roles over the years. His involvement started as soon as he returned to Connecticut upon completion of law school. He was first elected to the Town of Groton Representative Town Meeting, Groton in 1993. He served on the RTM for ten years until 2003 when he was elected to the Town of Groton Town Council. He served on the Town Council for four years from 2003 to 2007. In 2007, he was elected to the Town of Groton Board of Education where he served two years.
