Our client suffered a serious injury to her heal, plantar fasciitis. As a result she required multiple treatments, injections, and eventually a surgery. She endured the necessary medical care. After her medical care was complete, her doctor performed an examination, and determined that she suffered permanent nerve damage to her foot. As a result of the nerve damage, she was unable to walk.
We filed a lawsuit under the Connecticut Product Liability Act. The case proceeded through discovery, and we were ready for trial. Our client received a settlement of $200,000, and was very pleased.
